This is so cute. At least I thought it was, until all the people at church starting saying Chloe looked like a clown. We ran into some people at House of Java when she was wearing it and they LOVED it.
Newborn sized baby bloomers

An apple a day

This is a back to school shirt I appliqued for my sister's daughter that was starting kindergarten, not realizing she was wearing uniforms. Oh well, still turned out cute.

newborn baby gift

This is the absolute cutest tiniest little outfit. The top is made out of decorative handkerchiefs and I used dainty purple ribbons for the shoulder ties. Never leave baby unattended while wearing a pillowcase dress.
This is my first upcycled project. this was a Tommy Hilfiger shirt that I had bought Wesley and apparently he didn't like it. It was the dark blue and green plaid with the chambray fabric on the inside so I made a patchwork type longall and used the original pocket for the front center chest pocket. My cost: $0

Boo you

This is a Halloween outfit I made for Ethan but he won't even get to wear it. He is about 2 inches too tall. It did turn out absolutely adorable though.

Let's talk turkey

Isn't this adorable? I have been in the mood to make boy clothes for some reason lately. Isn't Ethan the cutest little model you have ever seen?

Auburn Tigers longall

As much as Roll tide fans as we are in the household, I sure have been making A LOT of Auburn outfits lately. I have one more on the list of to-do items. I will get started on it this afternoon. But this is the one I made for Ethan. Isn't he adorable?

September sewing

As much as I cheer for the Roll Tide, I still can't help it. This little Auburn Tigers dress turned out sooooo cute!! I made this one for a girl at my old work after she saw the one I made for the baby shower gift. I hope she likes it as much as I do.

The bows are removable for washing. The little pawprint is a resin piece I ordered a while back. Perfect for this outfit.

The tiger buttons add the perfect finishing touch to this Auburn tigers outfit. The dress can be worn with or without the bows. Enjoy!!

National Sewing Month

Who knew? I certainly did not. But I recently (like yesterday) found out that September is National Sewing Month. Wow!! A whole month dedicated to sewing! Guess maybe that's why my sewing orders have picked up this week.

Well, maybe it has something to do with football season right around the corner.

I made this adorable little longall in size 3-6 months. A guy I used to work with needed a baby shower gift and asked me to make an Auburn outfit "not too girly". This was what I came up with. Not too girly at all, even for his manly taste. This was the first time I used double buttons on the shoulder but I really like the look, especially for a boy outfit.

The next two orders are for Auburn girl outfits. One is just a dress and one is a dress with matching pants. I claim to be an Alabama fan, but I must admit these little Auburn outfits are too cute!!

August 2009

Chloe has a cute Halloween outfit to wear to the pumpking patch and i wanted Ethan to have something as equally endearing. So I made him the ghostly longall. Too cute!

This is an A-line dress I made for Chloe with coordinating pants. Some people said she looked like a clown but i thought it was cute.

This adorable little dress is a Japanese style dress, complete with an obi (sash). It can be worn with or without the obi and is just as cute either way. I adore it

appliqued onesie

the cutest little elephant I have ever seen....Being a Alabama Crimson Tide household, you know we like some elephants.

burp cloths

These are flannel backed burp cloths. Not only are they cute but they are the softest thing I have ever felt. Too easy to make too.

Thanksgiving denim

Here is a cute little Thanksgiving jacket complete with the word "Fall" appliqued on the front and some falling leaves. The back has the cutest little turkey.... Not to mention the adorable little turkey wearing it!!

baby shower gift

This is the cutest little baby outfit. Of course it's a pillowcase dress so NEVER leave the baby out of your sight while wearing!

Patriotic outfit

I adapted a pattern I already had to make this for Chloe. Instead of putting buttons on the back, I used grosgrain ribbon to pull thru the button holes and tie into bows. Simply adorable. I definetely will make this again using pink and green or purple and white....Too cute!!

Where would your little doll wear this adorable alligator outfit? A trip to the zoo perhaps? That's what inspired this creation. So I like to call this Gracie's zoo outfit. Newborn to size 5.

Christmas corduroy

This adorable outfit was inspired by a Christmas outfit I saw at I knew when I saw it that I had to give it a try. The A-line dress has 3 trees on the front each topped with a lime green bow (removable for washing, as usual) and the gaucho bottoms have a wide ruffle and are trimmed with extra wide rickrack to match the top....

lounge set

Here's an adorable, comfortable everyday set...cute enough to make your little one stand out this Christmas season but casual enough for everyday wear. I can recreate this just for your little one for $28 in sizes newborn to size 5.

reversible outfit

This adorable A-line outfit does double duty. Your little angel can wear it to all of the Thanksgiving family festivities and then the outfit can be reversed to reveal a whole new look that can be worn year long. The angel is appliqued on babywale pale pink corduroy. The peterpan collar blouse is not included.
